“Market Your Market” Resources

The “Market Your Market” project provides farmers’ market managers with resources and tools to promote their Los Angeles farmers’ markets using digital and print media. 

LA Market Managers Listserv

Want to connect directly with other market managers in the Los Angeles area? Join the LA Market Managers Listserv

Here are the steps to join the listserv, adjust your settings, or unsubscribe. Please note, you must subscribe and unsubscribe yourself. 

  1. Go to the sign up page at:
  2. Scroll down and ENTER YOUR EMAIL in the box that says “enter email.” In the dropdown box, make sure that “subscribe” is selected. (This is the same process to unsubscribe or select “digest mode” etc.) Once you have made your selection, press “enter.”
  3. FreeLists will send you a VERIFICATION EMAIL. Click the link in the verification email and follow the prompts. You have to check the boxes to accept their terms of service/privacy policy and confirm that you are the owner of your email.
  4. Once you receive a final CONFIRMATION EMAIL, you’re all set! (note- the email may have a long subject saying “command result” instead of “confirmation,” but if it’s from “FreeLists Mailing List Manager,” it’s the right one!)
  5. Now you will receive emails from the listserv and can start new threads by emailing:
